america smells good

Now that we don't have jobs we get up and go walking. Actually we eat muffins, set around, pack some stuff and then go walking, but really, walking is the first thing we do. Today we went on our usual loop: out the gate, around the apartments, through the school and into the neighborhood. About half way down the back stretch we noticed that it just smelled good outside. I guess a little like fresh cut grass, but sweeter. America smells good. Some other places don't. Of course this led into a little talk about our move and how much stuff we still have to do and how excited we are to be moving on and just changing things up. As recently retired tellers we have grown to appreciate a change in schedule and just a general change in the pace of our lives.
As far as moving goes, we still need to sell and pack some stuff, but we are making progress. We have gotten a few things done on our big list, but have a lot more to do. By the way, Jeff (www.lostlion.com) hooked us up with this wonderful website and Liz gets the credit for all of the pictures. I guess we are almost there, we both have Chacos and now we have a blog that says something.
