momma, we're coming home!

Well, we are finally down to our last few days in our apartment and in Louisville. Today we will pick up our UHaul and start loading it up. For the next few weeks we will be traveling quite a bit and visiting with family and friends. In case anybody is wondering, here is our schedule:

Oct 4 and 5 - Loading moving truck, cleaning the apartment, and doing something with the Jacksons that involves being blindfolded, $16 and being picked up at 6:30 Thursday evening.

Oct 6 - Moving to Paducah Day, yes, we are moving in with my mom

Oct 7 thru 13 - Atlanta, Covington, and Jekyll Island, GA. We are going to visit the fam, go on a little vacation and hopefully see one of Atlanta's newest residents, Gabe Close.

Oct 16 and 17 - Back to Louisville for some meetings and a few last minute visits

Oct 18 - Lexington for our nephew Brandon's football game and a little family visiting

Oct 19 - Sell the Honda and make our way back to Paducah

Oct 24 - Leave for FPO in Rockville, VA

We are quickly learning that saying goodbye to our friends will be the hardest part of starting this journey. As we approach each last thing, our last night of sitting on the Jackson's couch, our last load of laundry, our last night in our first home, we try to not dwell on leaving, but on what we will encounter in the next few months.
For now, we are off to move some more stuff...
