married friends at last

Finally! We have made new friends! And they're married or will soon be married! And they don't have kids yet! And they like to do the same things we do! Thanks to everyone who has been talking to Big Poppa about this, he has been abundant in answering!

This Saturday we went out to eat and play some billiards with 3 married couples that are a few years older than us. It was evident that Roger and Courtney don't know their way around a pool table, but fun was had nonetheless.





Then on Sunday night we ate dinner with a couple that will get married next month on the tourist island next door to ours (that's where they're from). They invited us to their wedding but unfortunately it probably won't work out. Anyways, after eating at the fish restaurant, which was actually quite delicious, we sang some karaoke. At first we were a little shy but soon we were belting out some sweet foreign songs (and some English ones too).




We hope to hang out with our new friends soon to strengthen and deepen the relationships. Keep thinking about us and our new friends. Hopefully this will help, and I hope it's not too cheesy, but whenever you are sipping a cup of java, please take that opportunity to remember us!
