meeting mimi

Courtney's mom arrived in The Islands just nine days after Asher was born.

Here we are waiting for her flight to land.

And this is Mimi meeting Asher for the very first time. She thinks he is the sweetest thing she has ever seen.

Once we got home she got to work helping us out. She has cleaned our house, done our laundry, cooked meals for us and changed a bunch of diapers.

Of course she has had plenty of time to just enjoy her first grandson. Here they are taking a nap together.

She also brought a lot of fun clothes for Asher. This is one of his cute new outfits (with matching blanket).

And this another outfit that a friend sent Asher, Mimi went ahead and got the matching hat and blanket.

Aren't we a cute little family?

We are loving having Mimi here and will be so sad when she heads home. She has been such a big help, we are really looking forward to going to Kentucky at Christmas time so we can spend some more time with Mimi and Asher can finally meet his Granny and Aunt Beth.

By the way, I will probably just be updating this blog now that Asher is here and there are no weekly pregnancy updates.
