our time is finished

I am writing from our living room in Surabaya for the last time. Our two years are done. We have worked hard, made new friends, learned to speak a new language and experienced a new culture. We have had times of joy and times of sadness. We have experienced the joy of welcoming our son into the world and the sadness of losing Courtney's dad. We have learned so many things, about ourselves and about the world we live in. It has been a good two years and we are very thankful for the experiences we have had.

As we pack our bags and say our goodbyes we will leave you with a portion of one of our favorite songs. We feel like these verses can capture some of the emotions we have experienced during these past two years.
