the big trip: hong kong

We have made it safely to Hong Kong and will be spending today (Jan 4) in a lounge waiting for our flight to The Islands.
Our goodbyes went well, but of course it is hard to leave behind our family and friends.
Our trip started rough with over an hour delay in Louisville because they could not start the plane. Definitely a problem that needs to be fixed. As we flew to Dallas we thought we had missed our connection to LA. After worrying about missed flights and then remembering that it is all in the hands of our Father we got to Dallas and saw that we had not missed our flight. It had been delayed as well!
We made it to LA in plenty of time to catch our flight to Hong Kong and spent 15 wonderful hours on a big airplane.
So, here we are. After a year of filling out forms and waiting we are one flight away from our new home. We will try to update again soon and hopefully we will have some pictures of our new house.
