We just got around to celebrating the 4th of July here in our city. We originally were going to celebrate on the 4th, but due to illness and whatnot it got pushed back and back until it was July 20th.
You may remember last year when we had a party on the roof of our English center. After eating we set off fireworks and the people who live near our English center thought there had been a terrorist attack. This year's bash was a little more low key.
We cooked out and enjoyed a lot of yummy food.
After the food we enjoyed a few round of Catch Phrase. Anybody who has played with our team knows that is always a heated battle. Tonight was no different.
We also had babies to play with.
And we had cupcakes for dessert.
Overall it was an excellent party. And because we celebrated the 4th of July on the 20th of July we were also celebrating the independence of Colombia.
So Happy Independence Day Colombia and Happy Belated Independence Day America!
