kl - day 6

Our final day in KL we had some free time to go exploring and shopping. We started out our day with a wonderful breakfast at Starbucks. After that we jumped on the train and headed into the city. We went to a big mall and decided to spend the day relaxing, walking around and doing a little bit of shopping.
Roger was able to find some swimming trunks at an outlet store and Baby Gap was having a sale so Asher got a new shirt. Big People Gap was also having a sale, so Roger was able to get a pimp new jacket. In the end everybody got something except for poor pregnant Courtney (but she enjoyed buying a shirt for Asher).
The highlight of the day was Border's. After 18 months of living overseas we finally had the chance to go into a real bookstore full of English language books. Roger enjoyed browsing all of the titles and Courtney enjoyed reading in a comfortable chair. Asher enjoyed kicking Courtney in the ribs while she read.
After a quick lunch at Burger King (they had self-service fountain drinks and free refills!) we jumped back on the train and headed to the Guest House to pick up our suitcases.
We arrived at the airport to discover our 7 pm flight was now leaving around 8:30 and settled in to wait to go home. Fortunately the rest of the trip was uneventful and we were both glad to be back home.
