Roger and I are spending this week in KL looking into some job possibilities. We will be returning to the States in mid-December and spending six months there before heading overseas again.
Yesterday we got up early (it was still dark outside!) and headed out to the airport. We went cheap on the plane tickets and took an Air Asia flight (think Southwest without the organization). It was a madhouse rushing to get seats and they even charged for water.
After surviving our cheap flight and the Low Cost Carrier Terminal in KL we headed into the city to meet our friends. What a great city! You can get anything you want here, quite the change for us. We enjoyed the famous Singapore Chicken Rice for lunch and some pretty good and maybe even slightly authentic Indian food for dinner.
Today we are enjoying Starbucks free wi-fi and Chai Tea Lattes for breakfast and maybe heading out for some sightseeing with friends.
More to come tomorrow...
